All striking tools from one single source in the future From of July 1, 2017 Erwin Halder KG takes over the hammer manufacturer “Johann Hermann Picard GmbH & Co. KG” in Wuppertal. The subsidiary “Ruthe Werkzeugfabrik GmbH & Co. KG” is part of the business acquisition. Both companies will be converted into Picard GmbH, which was recently founded and which is a subsidiary of Erwin Halder KG. The new company employs approx. 70 people and generates an annual turnover of about EUR 9 million. |
| Picard GmbH will be legally independent and will be continued in Wuppertal with the former staff and managing director. Former Johann Hermann Picard GmbH & Co. KG has been founded in 1857 and is the most renowned German hammer manufacturer. Every year, 800,000 steel hammers are produced in a wide variety of designs. Nearly the whole production process takes place on site. Our product ranges complement each other excellently, which enables us to provide all striking tools from one single source in the future. |
